Если на что-либо достаточно долго смотреть, то в какой-то момент возникает диалог с незримым собеседником, возникшим прямо перед тобой из рожденного образа.
Даже если это просто стена, приходят и становятся различимы его неуловимые черты. Открывается портал в другой мир. Дверь в другую реальность, где свобода ограничена только внутренним ощущением себя.
Серия “Лица” — авторская интерпретация личного опыта поиска и обретения творческой свободы. Выстраивания диалогов с Мирозданием, движения вперед, за пределы своего мировоззрения.
Работы выполнены в технике печати фототипия (collotype). Фототипия, существующая на границе классической фотографии и печатной графики, невольно размывает ее, показывая нам тонкость грани между двумя сложившимися жанрами. Возможность перехода из одного состояния в другое. Сохраняя диалог автора как с зрителем, так и с собой. Развивая и наполняя его новыми смыслами.

FACES
If you look at something long enough, a dialogue begins with an unseen interlocutor emerging right in front of you from the image that has taken shape.
Even if it’s just a wall, its elusive features slowly reveal themselves. A portal to another world opens. A door to a different reality where freedom is limited only by one’s inner sense of self.
The series “Faces” is the author’s interpretation of a personal journey to discover and embrace creative freedom. It reflects the building of dialogues with the Universe, moving forward beyond the boundaries of one’s worldview.
The works are created using the collotype printing technique. Positioned at the intersection of classical photography and printmaking, collotype naturally blurs the line between these two established genres. It reveals the delicate boundary between states, offering a transition from one to another. This approach maintains the author’s dialogue not only with the viewer but also with themselves, enriching and expanding it with new meanings.A. Jonauskas 2024
